Studio Apron - PDF Pattern
Every good sewist needs a place to hold their tools! What better way to have the right tools at the ready than with your own handmade studio apron? You can design the patch pocket to make it a one-of-a-kind creation. It’s the final touch to make your home sewing studio complete.
The Studio Apron is a beginner level project and is great for younger and newer sewists. This pattern consists only of straight lines. The final product should fit children ages 5+.
Finished dimensions: 17" wide x 8" tall
Skills involved: cutting fabric, sewing at an accurate seam allowance, topstitching, creating pockets. Many of these techniques are demonstrated in video tutorials on our Sewcabulary page.
This is a digital pattern that you can download to your computer and print on your home printer. The file will contain a description, supply list, cutting layout, illustrated instructions and pattern pieces.
Supplies needed:
- 1/3 yard fabric for apron
- 1/2 yard fabric for apron pocket
- 1/4 yard felt for patch pocket
- Felt scraps for decoration on pocket (optional)
- Buttons for decoration (optional)
- Embroidery floss for decoration
- Two 24-inch ribbons for ties
