Cancellation and Refunds

COVID-19 Update:

As it stands, we still plan to run all summer camps starting June 22 as originally scheduled, provided the state and local officials declare it safe for us to operate and that it is feasible for us to do so.

We are committed to providing a safe camp experience for all staff and campers. We will be implementing Camp Safety Measures based on CDC and state guidance. Please view our comprehensive Summer Camp Safety Plan here:

In the event you need to cancel your child's enrollment in Butcher's Sew Shop Junior program due to COVID-19 restrictions or illness, you are entitled to a full refund with no cancellation fees. However, please know that there is a delay in processing refunds through our registration system. Please let us know by the 20th of each month to receive a refund of your registration fee by the end of that month.

A student withdrawn after the start of a program will not be issued a refund. Butcher's Sew Shop reserves the right to change these policies based on individual circumstance. Butcher's Sew Shop may cancel a program at any time. In the event Butcher's Sew Shop cancels a session, students will be offered a transfer or refund/credit.

Lost or Left Items

Butcher's Sew Shop is not responsible for personal items left behind in the studio. If your child left a sewing project, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to find and hold it for up to one week.

Age Policy

We have carefully structured our teaching curriculum around different age groups in order to meet the unique needs and skill levels of children in various developmental stages. If we discover that a child was registered under a false birth date in order to change their age for admittance into a particular class or camp, we reserve the right to terminate or transfer their registration. We request that you leave class space open for children who do meet our age criteria.

Behavioral Dismissal

If a child is acting in a way that threatens their safety or the safety of other students, or impedes the teachers' ability to instruct and care for the rest of the group, Butcher's Sew Shop reserves the right to call the guardian and dismiss that child from class. If the same behavioral issue occurs twice, we reserve the right to to terminate that child's registration for the session.
