Panda Tote - PDF Pattern

This pattern is considered an intermediate sewing level for children with some experience. It features straight and curved lines, precision placement of details, and is fully lined. Help from an adult is encouraged for some steps. 
 
Finished dimensions: 11.5" wide x 14" tall
 
Skills involved: cutting & marking fabric, sewing at an accurate seam allowance, pinning, sewing & clipping curves, topstitching, leaving an opening, hand sewing. Many of these techniques are demonstrated in video tutorials on our Sewcabulary page.
 
This is a digital pattern that you can download to your computer and print on your home printer. The file will contain a description, supply list, cutting layout, illustrated instructions and pattern pieces to print and assemble.
 
Supplies needed:
1/2 yard fabric
1/2 yard lining
1/4 yard felt for eyes, ears, paws, nose, tummy and tail
2 buttons for eyes
Embroidery floss to sew on felt & buttons
1 yard of 1" webbing cut into two pieces. We recommend cotton webbing which does not melt when ironed.
