Adult-Child Sewing Workshop

Have a machine still sitting in its original packaging that you finally want to learn to use? Do you feel ill-equipped to help your child when they are sewing at home? Want to share creative time together? If so, this is the workshop for you!

Join us for a fun 3-hour workshop learning how to use a machine with the help of your sewing buddy.  We'll show you how you how to wind bobbins, thread a machine and do basic stitching. We'll review what all those knobs, dials and thing-a-ma-jigs are, and go over the most common problems children (and adults) encounter when using a machine at home and how to correct them. You'll even make a small project to take home!

Say goodbye to sewing machine intimidation and hello to a new hobby!

BYO machine or use one of ours.

This workshop is for families of children who have taken one or more classes or camps with us in the past.

We want them to help you learn the machine!

Limited to one child per adult, please.
